Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you access cops.app, connect integrations, manage creator operations workspaces, and use the Discord application.
Last updated: June 6, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of cops.app, including the website, dashboard, APIs, Discord application, bot, and related services.
By using cops.app, you agree to these terms. If you use cops.app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
For now, references to cops.app, we, us, or our mean the operator of cops.app. The formal legal entity will be added here before commercial launch.
Service
cops.app provides creator operations tools for managing creators, campaigns, public social content performance, team collaboration, payout structures and records, integrations, and Discord community operations.
We may add, change, suspend, limit, or remove features as the product evolves or as needed for reliability, security, compliance, or product operations.
Some features may be beta, experimental, or dependent on third-party services. We may modify or discontinue those features at any time.
Accounts and organizations
You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account.
Organization owners and admins control organization membership, roles, integrations, and workspace data. You are responsible for granting access only to authorized people.
You must not share account credentials, bypass access controls, use another user's account without permission, or access another organization's data.
Discord application
The cops.app Discord application is used for account sign-in, identity connection, bot installation, server linking, role and channel setup, onboarding flows, and creator operations commands.
You are responsible for installing the bot only in Discord servers where you have permission to do so and for configuring server permissions, roles, channels, and command access appropriately.
Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's terms, developer terms, policies, and platform rules.
Customer data and public social data
You retain ownership of data and content you submit to cops.app. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and operate that data to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for the data you add, connect, import, or instruct us to process, including creator, campaign, social, payout-record, team, and Discord-related information.
You represent that you have the rights, notices, permissions, and lawful basis needed to use cops.app with creator information, public social content, and third-party integrations.
Payout records
cops.app may help you configure payout structures, calculate amounts, and track payout records for creator operations.
Unless a separate payment-processing feature is expressly enabled, cops.app is not a bank, payroll provider, escrow agent, money transmitter, payment processor, tax advisor, accounting firm, or legal advisor.
You are responsible for reviewing payout records, making payment decisions, paying creators, issuing tax forms, and complying with applicable labor, tax, payment, and platform rules.
Acceptable use
You may not use cops.app to violate laws, infringe rights, abuse third-party services, process data without appropriate rights, compromise security, disrupt the service, harass others, or misrepresent creator, campaign, or payout information.
You may not reverse engineer, attack, overload, scrape the service itself without permission, bypass rate limits, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to cops.app, its infrastructure, or another organization's data.
You may not use cops.app in a way that violates Discord's terms, social platform rules, or the terms of any integration you connect.
Third-party services
cops.app integrates with third-party services such as Discord, authentication providers, email providers, infrastructure providers, analytics and monitoring providers, and social data providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, including their availability, data, APIs, permissions, platform decisions, or policy changes.
If a third-party service changes, suspends, or terminates access, cops.app features that depend on that service may stop working or change without notice.
Fees
Some features may be offered for free, in beta, or under a paid plan. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and any refund policy will be presented before purchase or in a separate order form.
You are responsible for taxes, platform fees, creator payments, and third-party charges that are not expressly included in a cops.app plan.
Intellectual property
We and our licensors retain all rights in cops.app, including software, designs, logos, trademarks, documentation, and service content, except for customer data you submit.
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation.
Disclaimers and liability
cops.app is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by law, cops.app will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or creator relationships.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amounts paid to cops.app for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if no amount was paid.
Indemnity and termination
You will defend and indemnify cops.app from claims arising from your workspace data, your use of the service, your connected integrations, your Discord server configuration, your creator or payout operations, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security or legal risk, misuse the service, or if continued service is no longer commercially or technically practical.
You may stop using the service at any time. Some provisions, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms, survive termination.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
